The 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games (AIMAG) will be held in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, in 2017. This will be included eSports - one of the fastest growing sports in the world.
The venue for the 5th AIMAG - The Athletes Village - a unique place that can accommodate over 12,000 people. It also has modern stadiums and a variety of amenities like a community dining room, a restaurant, a theatre, cafes, museum, a library, music studio and a post office.
Athletes from 62 countries will participate in AIMAG 2017. They will compete in 22 disciplines, including eSports. Players from 10 countries applied to fight in StarCraft II, The King of Fighters XIV, Hearthstone and Dota 2 as the most common games: real-time strategy, fighting, card game, and multi-player online battle arena.
Following countries will participate in eSports: Laos, Philippines, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Chinese Taipei, Iran, China, Jordan, Pakistan, Turkmenistan.
Games will start at 25th of September and will last for 3 days.
Athletes will fight not only for the honor and glory, not only for the medals, but for the name of the first-ever Olympic Champions!
